2nd Grade This Winter

Reading will be an adventure for second grade during the beginning of 2008. They will visit the past as well as solve mysteries using trade books along side the basic reader.

 

We will be learning new and surprising things about verbs. Did you know verbs are more than just an action word?

We are really doing a great job with our lower case cursive. Watch out capitals, here we come!

Math is becoming a challenge with addition and subtraction of 2 and 3 digit numbers.

We have surpassed our school goal of 9000 Box Tops for the year. Don't let that stop you from bringing in your Box Tops. The class with the most Box Tops in February wins a week of Dress Down! March's contest has been moved to February.
