Fifth grade is moving
right along in Math. We will begin Unit 3 in January with dividing
decimals followed by collecting data, making and reading pictographs,
and bar and line graphs.
They will explore finding
range, median, mode, and mean of data.
The majority of the winter
months will be busy with prime and composite numbers, factorization,
and fractions, fractions, and more FRACTIONS!

The 6th

Spring will
come and bring us customary and metric units.
7th

Seventh

and are ready to try 2-step equations, consecutive integers, clearing
fractions, and solving problems with variables on both sides.
8th
